I have been building racing engines since 1993, personally completing over 2,100 units for the motorcycle world. This passion is what started EDR Performance, and I am incredibly proud of the national championships and lap records my engines have achieved across nearly every continent.
However, I have decided to step away from public race engine building. This decision stems from a need to prioritize my health and family after decades of 100-hour work weeks. Additionally, the increasing difficulty in sourcing parts and the changing landscape of professional racing, along with the fact I've not found anyone capable of continuing to build race engine at my expected level of quality & reliability. Lastly the customer landscape has changed dramatically the last few years.
All of this has made it the right time to transition.
The good news is that EDR Performance is not going anywhere. We are experiencing exponential growth even going into our 29th years! So many new aspects like our online sales, international business, 3D production & more. So I will be shifting my full focus to our ECU/Tuning services, dyno tuning, and our in-house 3D product development.
For those with current engine builds in progress, please rest assured that they will be completed to my highest standards, and we will continue to provide full support for all existing EDR engines as we have for the past 30 years.
