Becoming a mom has been the greatest and most rewarding experience of my life. Stan and I always say that hands down Gia is our greatest collaboration. Happy Mother’s Day!
2024 was bittersweet, on the same day we found out we were having a daughter we also found out we were going to lose our fur son to an aggressive type of cancer. I’m grateful for every month of challenges, giving Bruno multiple daily medications while going to the doctor to see how our baby girl was growing. Now going into 2025 we get to call ourselves parents to our little rainbow dragon baby Gia, born on 12/12/24 at 12:24pm, who’s looked after from rainbow bridge by our big angel baby Bruno. 🕊️🌈 🐾🍼🐉
Bruno left an impression on everyone he met. He was the sweetest, best behaved, ball loving dog. He loved every human and every creature, he genuinely didn’t have a bad bone in his body. If you ever hiked with him, then you saw that he waited for the last person in our group, he left no man behind. He was even obedient until his last breath.
I typically think through every decision I make, but 12 years ago I was walking down the street and there was a homeless puppy in a box that someone was trying to get rid of. I didn’t think twice, he just became mine and when I brought him home he became Stan’s best boy. He was our soul dog, our dog of honor, a dog so good you don’t ever want to let him go, that you’d do anything for. He gave us years of unconditional love and he held on for almost all of my pregnancy. I know he would have been the best big brother, but it was time to let him be free of pain. We will miss him everyday. Until we meet again Bruno, we know you’ll be waiting for us. 🌈🕊️
