Superpower.
I’ve been very open about living with OCD. It’s shown up in different ways throughout my life, and I only wish I had embraced it sooner. There’s still a stigma around mental health, and OCD doesn’t look the same for everyone. Perspective changes everything. What once felt like a challenge, I now see as my superpower.
I’ve come a long way, and it’s only the beginning.

Mural.
When Liz + Nigel Ball tell you to lie on the floor + look up at the ceiling, you lie on the floor + look up at the ceiling.
This sweeping composition of blues, pinks + violets is layered with metallic gold detailing that catches the light in the most elegant way.
I created the entire bedroom concept around this moment, and there’s no question it’s the focal point. The walls are softly dusted in palest blue, furnishings are slowly arriving + the space is beginning to tell its story.

I layered in warm accents, dimensional lighting + soft linen window treatments to balance out the saturation. This hunter green has the slightest slate undertone, and it’s absolute perfection.

Bathroom.
Down to the studs. This renovation gave us the opportunity to raise the ceiling, which was essential for a growing teen already over 6 feet tall. You never fully know what you’re walking into until demo begins, and in this case, we got lucky. A few extra inches made a difference.
A neutral palette sets the tone, grounded by intentional black accents.
Shower glass is en route, but for all intents + purposes, this remodel is complete.

Snapshot.
Art is so personal. I’m often drawn to abstracts with fluid, continuous movement. They echo the cyclical nature of life. Expansive + full of possibility, yet ultimately shaped by the choices we make.
I recently spent an afternoon with @rethinkreframe . Experiencing art up close is entirely different from scrolling past it on a screen. There’s a depth, an energy. When there’s a connection, you feel it.
While my clients always have the final signoff, gathering insight is an essential part of the process.
