Join the Brighton illustrator meet-up at The Brunswick Jazz Jam for an evening of sketching jazz in all its shapes and forms.
This relaxed meet-up welcomes illustrators at every stage of their career, offering the chance to draw some live music. Drawing prompts will be provided to help spark ideas and keep your creativity flowing ! Please bring sketchbook and materials.

Thank you @brightonartbookfair for inviting us to run the ABC zine-making workshop! And a big thank you to everyone who joined, shared ideas, and made pages with us 🐛📄
In the workshop, participants picked a random alphabet and prompt as a starting point, then took it wherever they wanted. We honestly loved how playful and thoughtful everything turned out!

Eden Brack, Ulrike Mieke, Lucy Beacham, Maia Roman and Izzy Howard collaborate to host FLOCK: a creative meet up for illustrators based in and around Brighton and open to creatives of all backgrounds and career stages.
In the UK hundreds of peaceful protestors have been arrested for protesting the ban on Palestine Action.
This is a violation of the UK’s international obligations to protect the rights of freedom of expression and peaceful assembly. And it hasn’t happened in a vacuum. It has been years of crackdown on our right to protest.
Add your voice to Amnesty’s call to end all prosecutions against these peaceful protestors. Link to petition in bio.

In July, Colossal Centipede @colossalcentipede took over our Lighthouse Project Space for a full day of creativity, all thanks to winning our annual survey prize!
This talented collective of eight MA Sequential Illustration grads from @uniofbrighton spent the day making, planning, and reconnecting. From riso-printed comics to knitted zines, their work is a vibrant mix of storytelling and craft.
They’re currently crafting their A-Z collective zine series, with ‘C’ dedicated to ‘Centipedes’, of course! Their project included creating a centipede-shaped bunting for their upcoming first birthday celebration.
It was the perfect ‘mini-residency’, giving them space to collaborate and dream big for the year ahead.
