🧘♀️ Yoga Across Programs 🧘♂️
Our DXT program partakes in yoga every Tuesday, coming together for a calming session with our visiting instructor 💙 Each session begins with a warm “Namaste” greeting before moving through a half-hour routine of stretching, tree poses, butterfly poses, relaxing music, and an ending song. Participants make it their own—whether it’s guessing the next pose, adapting movements, or simply enjoying the moment ✨
In our Commack Adult Day Habilitation program, participants also enjoy yoga sessions every Tuesday and Thursday with their instructor Dani from Peace in the Pines 💙 These sessions bring the same sense of calm and connection, with guided stretching, movement, and relaxation that allows everyone to participate in a way that feels right for them.
Across both programs, yoga is a time to slow down, connect, and embrace movement in all its forms—where every level of participation is welcomed and celebrated 💫
A little movement, a little mindfulness, and a whole lot of joy 🧘♀️💙
