Just over two weeks since we met under the arches in Herne Hill. We’re seeing a new direction unfold now, one immersed in colour, light, and movement. The fringe soundscapes we’ve been imagining for so long taking shape inside the technicolour haze. A huge thanks to all our volunteers, to @parametrica_studio and @daisymayb_ for your creative energies, to all our dancers, the @birdhousebrewery team and to @kyletoole_ for co-hosting the night’s musical selections. We’re taking a moment now to reflect and refocus, but you’ll be hearing from us very soon. ✌️

@parametrica_studio bring their set, light & sound wizardry to the dance this Friday. The setup uses the entire space as part of the experience, with visuals, lighting and sound moving together in unexpected ways. Abstract shape, colour, distortion, rhythmic patterns. As we venture into a new unknown, there are few better than @kyletoole_ to guide us. Nothing’s off the table here. Genre-fluid collisions, anything that’s not club but also very club, exploring the musical moods that are hard to put into words. New beginnings under Herne Hill’s arches. Opening this first chapter with a special convergence of sound, light & colour. Exploring the leftfield, the electronic and the non-electronic, a network of sound that spans dub, krautrock, electronica, downtempo, space rock, weirdo disco and beyond.
