This time last week we travelled to the magical island of Alderney for a very special weekend. Haz started the planning but tragically never made it. We did you proud, thanks for giving us such an amazing weekend. You were sorely missed...RIP buddy. To all that came and made it such a great weekend, the boys, Will, the Harrisson’s - you rock. Have fun up there and keep the party going till I arrive x #thankyou #themagicisland #wewillpartyagainoneday
‘The Braemar Gathering’
I have been fascinated by the idea of tradition, ceremony, competition and unique sporting events for a number of years. Having spent alot of time in Scotland during my childhood the Highland Games has always intrigued me. After three years without a Gathering due to the pandemic, a pause in proceedings for the first time in its history, I finally made the trip to photograph the 2022 games. It did not disappoint.
With the design help of the brilliant @zannymellor and the push from @studio_small I have finally printed a paper with the @newspaperclub
A massive thank you to @hauserwirth for helping to facilitate the project, Craig Nesbit @braemargathering for the help and to all the brilliant competitors and participants that made such a brilliant event.

‘First day of the season’ - Glenshee Scotland
Skiing in Scotland is certainly a little different. The beauty of the weather means you can’t always guarentee the perfect conditions but it’s this that makes it so special.
This year the brilliant team @glenshee_ski_centre decided to open no matter what on Dec 21st. The forecast was looking good for some snow but mother nature pulled the plug just before and even making snow became a little trickier. The patch is all that was able to be used but this didn’t stop the skiers coming. If there is a tiny bit of snow it WILL be skied on. The buses arrived and the skiing began.
I was just there for the first day but what a season it’s been. One of the best ever. Skiing in the Cairngorms is special. A massive thank you to Dave Patterson and the whole team that work all hours to keep this special place going. Snow or no snow, go and visit. It’s beautiful.
