Sabato 25 aprile Kina ospita EDD Edoardo Maria Bellucci (EDD) è musicista elettronico, sound artist, performer, tecnico del suono ed educatore con base a Roma. Fondatore e direttore artistico del progetto DIACRONIE comprendente gli annessi DIACRONIE media (label) e DIACRONIE Lab (studio), è attivo da anni nell’ambito dell’organizzazione eventi e della divulgazione culturale delle diverse forme d’arte contemporanea specificamente nel tessuto sociale e geografico di Roma. Come musicista la sua pratica artistica spazia dalla ricerca sonora elettroacustica alle sperimentazioni odierne della cultura elettronica beat, mantenendo alto il focus sui nuovi linguaggi performativi e sull’esplorazione di sistemi e dispositivi per una nuova liuteria del suono. SINTAGMA is a research and sonic exploration project focused on the non-deterministic investigation of electroacoustic hyperinstruments. Yesterday the @diacronie_ Takeover @trenta_formiche was an absolute blast! You were all so warm and enthusiastic, making every moment of the evening absolutely wonderful. A huge thank you to @spentriu for making this unforgettable night possible and to Trenta for allowing us to immerse ourselves so deeply in such a wonderful and powerful place. It took me a while, but I’ve finally decided to share my personal approach to music selection on this cursed platform. On april 5th at @rough.radio with @diacronie_ I made this “hybrid selection”, which is a small, very personal journey through various sonic forms that fuel and inspire my relationship with electronic sound. In these past few months, so many powerful things have happened that I'm still in disbelief and in recovery mode. Ogni brano si presenta come un sistema complesso e ricorsivo raggiunto tramite la compresenza simultanea di molteplici sorgenti concrete elaborate in tempo reale da algoritmi di trattamenti del suono tempovarianti. Successivamente, estrapolate le gestualità più significative, il tutto è riorganizzato. _ "bin_mod aims to allude to how complex algorithmic rules for sound processing (with 'bin' signifying binary in the digital sense) can be effective in modulating and reorganizing complex timbral structures derived from the surrounding environment or anomalies of analog machines subjected to improbable efforts (with 'mod' referring to modulation, rearticulation)." Each track unfolds as a complex and recursive system achieved through the simultaneous presence of multiple concrete sources processed in real-time by time-variable sound treatment algorithms. Subsequently, extracting the most significant gestures, the entire composition is reorganized.
