Check out this cool Exhibition at the @riversideartmuseum ECLIPSE: What’s Your Perspective? exhibition stands as a living landscape of time with photographers and orchestrators Malik Laing and Jonathan Freemantle Arthurs, of San Bernardino’s Eclipse Spaces. Born in San Bernardino, CA - Malik Laing has built his visual identity through using a camera to express his unique perspective on topics such as community, culture, music, and art. Coming from a background of entrepreneurship, Malik has continued to create and build a career within the photo/film industry while maintaining ownership in business endeavors - intending to encourage black youth to pursue a similar route. Using his true passions and authentic perspective to fuel his creativity, Malik strives to create timeless and compelling work that will last to inspire future generations. Born and raised in sunny Los Angeles, CA to Jamaican and Belizean parents, Jonathan Freemantle Arthurs is no stranger to the life of a creative and visual artist. His father was instrumental in introducing him to the artistic world of photography as he constantly carried a camera with him through all their family excursions and experiences. Today, as a husband, a father of 4, and an entrepreneur, Jonathan has followed in the legacy of his father, capturing life’s precious moments for all to see. Jonathan is passionate and proud about capturing the beauty and essence that exists throughout California, all while creating a positive visual representation of the Black community.

Their love for the city of San Bernardino led them to build a space of necessity, perseverance, and not taking no for an answer in the form of a photography studio @eclipsespaces Jonathan: β€œWe found ourselves in a renaissance of artists and businesses in San Bernardino and the IE in general. And I think that we started this with the intention of it being bigger than us.” - @323.raw Malik: β€œI really look at what this project's brought out of me, it's really, really essential to even the photographer I'm becoming. And I think I wouldn't be the photographer I've really been chasing the entire time if I didn't go through this, because of the sense of Black community, the sense of business, and even how I'm navigating that world too.” - @maliklphoto Special Limited Risograph printed posters from flier artist Gabe Stein @707.creative ✨✨✨Limited Risograph printed posters will be available for free during the 𝘌𝘀𝘭π˜ͺ𝘱𝘴𝘦: π˜žπ˜©π˜’π˜΅β€™π˜΄ 𝘠𝘰𝘢𝘳 π˜—π˜¦π˜³π˜΄π˜±π˜¦π˜€π˜΅π˜ͺ𝘷𝘦?
