When Roemello @goldenagethrift tapped in with me to style and model for his recent collaboration with @polachic_ he said he wanted me to lean in to my personal style. “Say less” I said. I grabbed everything I was wearing that week and @filmdotorg , @goldenagethrift and, I got this done in about an hour. Real flow-state energy. This Saturday 5/11 we are hosting our first event of the year (HARU HARU) at @anonymousismshop with our friends from @georgia_ic25 . To celebrate the changing of seasons we are bringing together a collection of artists and creatives to bring you clothing, art, accessories, food and, drinks. All crafted by talented members of our community. I’ve been putting a lot of energy into the store this year and not a lot into my physical products. I’ve focused more energy into my practices and self-education so Ive been researching new ways to combine my art with my life-experiences. I’m visually representing what I’ve learned from my meditation practices, studies in self development and esoteric wisdom with a craft that requires discipline and focus. I created a new “ECKS” logo that represents finding awareness amidst my cycles in life and being able to alter my habits to avoid repetition or be able to ride-out a cycle knowing that it will end soon and begin a new. I then hand embroidered it into some new hats and some old hats to signify letting go and beginning new. The logo consists of three half-circles on top and three on bottom. The half-circles represent the awareness before a cycle is done. Three half circles on top and three on bottom represent the hermetic principle of “as above, so below”. 3 and 3 representing 33 which is my current age and the numerology of compassion, discipline and, courage. I will be selling new and old pieces for $33 to give new life and energy to this creative chapter. I’ll have my pieces behind the counter so if you see something you like lmk. Love y’all!
