It’s nice to do special acts for other show-folks, and this one is special indeed—its illustrious history includes performances by Kendra Warmolts (at Coney Island!!), who told me about their teachers-the legends Leda Resurrection and Mistress Persephone who graced the NYC fetish scene with all kinds of wild and exciting danger kink acts!

Soooo the name change.
My life as a performer has moved really fast over the past four years, since I started swallowing swords, and I’m getting around to making myself and my career sorted. And, my experience with my gender and my body continues to be mystical and I’m excited to finally take the chance honour myself and that journey with a name of my choosing.
So I’m transitioning my circus name and my general life name. “Echo Thorn” in FULL for the stage, Echo or Alaska for offstage/bartending/whatever life activities you may find me doing.
