Jeff Nelson a.k.a ECHOFLOAT’s visual works expands on the idea of finding rhythm in chaos, exploring cityscapes remixed as concrete playgrounds. By underlining the old and deconstructing the new, these visual explorations pay heed to the quiet structures and spaces of our everyday existence. Out of order but repurposed for preservation in cyberspace.
The music he explores ranges from lush thoughtful soundscapes to intricate granular textures. Bass music has always been an underlying aspect of his sound palette. It's the foundation over which he explores his own productions and DJ sets that are reminiscent of organic and cyberpunk aesthetics in hopes to invoke a sense of space, form, interconnectivity and movement.
In “EVERYDAY IRREGULARITIES”, he probes the tiny errors and quiet poetry hidden in algorithmic systems.
