Oblivion is a 10-minute experimental ambient audiovisual performance that re-interprets the meaning of loss and then reveals the invisible traces that left behind.
It is not a work about forgetting.
Nor is it meant to commemorate someone, end a relationship, or tell a particular story.
It is closer to an echo experiment taking place deep within consciousness.
Through light, sound, mist, slow rhythms, and fragmented images, I try to recreate those moments that exist only within the mind — the lingering warmth of a relationship, a closeness that never quite began, a quiet awakening briefly illuminated in the wind, the sudden awareness of your own heartbeat in the middle of a crowd.
These moments are brief and fragile, yet somehow more real than eternity.
They feel like light slipping through a crack in time — unstable, but gentle enough to illuminate the shadowed parts within us.
Forgetting becomes an alchemy of loss —
a slow transmutation where what fades does not vanish,
but lingers as a tremor, a shimmer,
an afterimage of being.
I wanted to hold on to that light.
And so, Oblivion was brought to life.
