This climbing helmet is officially complete! When @blackdiamond sent me this helmet to beautify, I initially had a different design in mind. After some thought, I decided to shift gears and add some paintbrush florals to this piece. I’m thrilled with how it turned out, and I’m amazed by how much you all enjoyed seeing the process. Which outdoor company should I collaborate with next? 🤓
Please note that this helmet is for decoration only. A reaction occurred between the paint and plastic, which could affect the integrity of the helmet.

Most of you know me for my digital illustrations. Back in the fall, I was craving a craft that didn’t involve a screen. That craving led me back to clay after almost 7 years away, and I haven’t looked back.

Outside of client projects I’ve been honing in my ceramic style while I build a new business to share my work with you. Getting back to ceramics after 7 years away has felt frustrating and like it was meant to be. This art form has my heart at every stage and I can’t wait to get my pieces in your hands 🤍

I can’t believe how long it’s been. I remember hitting launch on that Etsy site at 21 so vividly. I remember showing up to my first markets. Feeling so young and new and like I knew absolutely nothing at all. I don’t know when it happened.
When I found my ground.
Like truly found my ground. The overwhelming anxiety and imposter syndrome softened in the night. The confidence and creativity stepped up and became my new reality. This company has been the most steady thing in my adult life in a way I could’ve never imagined it to be. It’s turned into something I could’ve never expected and I’m so grateful

I am so proud of this accidental beauty !! The shiny glaze I used both inside and out tends to blister and pinhole when glaze is applied on the opposite side of the form. I went for it to add some texture and it turned out stunning 🤍
