As a pioneer in premium appliances, ASKO was proud to participate in the inaugural edition of #EchoExhibition in Stockholm, and explore the harmony between Scandinavian heritage and nature with the global design community.
The brand’s latest innovations and design philosophy were presented by @vincenthofstee , head of ASKO design, and Pernilla Döse, senior industrial designer. They shared how ASKO continues a 75-year tradition where beauty and functionality are inseparable, drawing inspiration from the rugged Scandinavian landscape.

ECHO is a new exhibition with a line-up of established brands alongside emerging talents. The exhibition brings together furniture, textiles, rugs, porcelain, lightning, and beds, alongside home appliances, consumer electronics, and art.

ECHO’s logo has been created by the design studio JOY Objects, founded by Fredrik Paulsen. JOY Objects is known for its playful and minimalistic design where form, humor, and function are seamlessly integrated. The ECHO logo is JOY Objects’ interpretation of the platform’s name and concept — a visual echo where references from the past meet contemporary design.
“Driven by our love for subcultures and a deep connection to 90’s aesthetics, the logo works as a paraphrase, or an echo of one of our favorite 90’s rappers: Ice Cube. Known for his strong relationship with design, he felt like a natural reference — one that became even more fitting given the icy temperatures in Stockholm during Stockholm design days,” says Fredrik Paulsen, founder JOY Objects.

Having Joy at Echo
Swedish designer @fredrikpaulsen is one of the designers showcasing at the new venue called @echo.exhibition during Stockholm Design Week 2-6th of February.
ECHO os a new exhibition plattform for Swedish design founded by @karinskoldberg who's also head of the publicity company @trendgruppenpr
A number of Swedish designers and companies will gather at Skeppsholmen in Stockholm and there will be food by @bymathiasdahlgren and talks run by @newera__magazine

Lotta Agaton Interiors has been entrusted with defining the spatial framework for ECHO. The set design draws its color palette from nature.
Lotta Agaton is also part of Ogeborg’s ECHO exhibition space, with a new hand tufted wool carpet experimenting with pattern and fringes.
“I immediately associated the word ECHO with my childhood summers in Norrland, and how sounds there echo across the river and between the mountains. That, along with the exhibitors’ products, which clearly have a nature-inspired theme, became the foundation for the exhibition,“ explains Lotta Agaton.
“I believe everyone dreams of getting closer to nature in different ways, and I hope ECHO becomes a small oasis for inspiration and reflection, offering a contrast to the everyday noise of the city,“ says Karin Sköldberg, founder of ECHO.
