Thought I’d formally introduce myself (and get my money’s worth out of my Canva Pro subscription). While I may get hired for the pretty clothes, I’d like to think I get re-hired by being a reasonably pleasant person to be around for 1 to 8 weeks at a time, so here’s a little bit about the designer behind costumes.

Three additional fun facts:
-My New Years Resolution was to buy less “new” clothing, and I’ve successfully revamped my wardrobe to be close to 75% thrifted or second-hand.
-My favorite band is Green Day, and the majority of what I listen to is punk/pop punk/grunge (with a side of Taylor Swift and Chapelle Roan as a palette cleanser).
-I’m a monumental nerd. Marvel, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings- you name it, I’m probably into it.

Haven’t had much time to draw for fun in the past year because I’ve been too busy doing my day job as a theatrical costume designer. With that in mind, it felt time to shift @ecardraws to better reflect the work that I do on a regular basis.

Don’t worry- there will still be plenty of drawing and plenty of clothes. I’ll even throw in some sports content when I get the chance. But hope you’re excited for a new dramatic twist. 🎭💃🏻
