On Wednesday evening, we joined @roddyclarkedesign , muralist @samwoodartist , known for his expressive, modernist-inspired works, and Samuel Barry of @fineartmouldings , a second-generation specialist in bespoke decorative plasterwork and architectural craft, for a conversation exploring the importance of craft in residential design as part of the @londoncraftweek programme. Both Sam and Samuel have contributed bespoke works for amenity spaces at @thecapston so it was interesting to get an insight into their crafts processes and inspirations. Thank you to all panelists for generously sharing your expertise and perspectives.

Last week we celebrated the launch of the Andy Earl x Bankside Yards exhibition with a fantastic opening event. The three-month exhibition is now open inside one of @banksideyards ’s restored Victorian railway arches, featuring 40 works by acclaimed photographer, filmmaker and artist Andy Earl - a career-spanning showcase of the iconic figures he has worked with over four decades, from Sir David Attenborough and Johnny Cash to Madonna, Pink Floyd, Mick Jagger, The Rolling Stones, and Robbie Williams. The exhibition also marks a truly historic moment: the opening of these Victorian arches to the public for the first time in over 150 years - a landmark step in Bankside Yards’ journey to becoming London’s newest mixed-use cultural district on the South Bank. Entry is free - head to Eventbrite to register your tickets. Open Wednesday–Sunday, 12pm–7pm at Arch 10, 250 Blackfriars Road, SE1. If you’re south of the river, it’s well worth a visit!

Thrilled to see @subzerowolfuk leading the conversation on bathroom wellness in the Financial Times this week. @daisydawnay ’s latest feature explores the rise of the bathroom fridge and as she puts it, it’s a trend driven by those storing supplements, skincare and ginger shots. What makes this particularly special is the story behind how the brand started: in 1943, founder Westye F Bakke developed the technology to store his diabetic son’s insulin at home. Eight decades on, that same spirit of purposeful refrigeration is finding a new audience – and a new room. A full circle moment indeed!

As we move further into an increasingly digital world, carving out time and space for reading is becoming more important than ever. Our clients are increasingly recognising the need for dedicated reading areas - from transforming unused corners into cosy retreats, to designing entire rooms built around switching off and getting lost in a book. 📚 With 2026 marking the National Year of Reading, it felt like the perfect moment to look at how these spaces are being brought to life. Here’s a look at some of our favourite reading nooks! Swipe to explore.

Postcard from Sicily. Wishing you were here. Actually, wishing we were there. Private villas, a 4,000 m² Irene Forte Spa that makes you forget what a deadline is, and Italy’s No.1 golf destination that looks directly out at the Mediterranean Coastline. @roccoforteprivatevillas you’ve made your point!

The first Monday in May belongs to the @metmuseum - and this year’s “Fashion is Art” dress code, tied to their upcoming Costume Art exhibition, felt like a natural prompt to look closer to home. Art has always been at the heart of great interior design. Here’s a look at some of the pieces our clients have woven into their schemes.

@fluxx.digital just covered the Andy Earl x Bankside Yards exhibition saying: “As the long-anticipated @banksideyards begins to reveal itself, the opening of its restored Victorian railway arches introduces not just a new destination, but a new cultural rhythm for the city.” Opening 8th May, the exhibition sees renowned photographer @andyearl1 return to London. Across a four-decade career, his work has captured defining moments, artists and atmospheres at the very core of cultural memory 📸 Swipe to see what they had to say ➡️ ANDY EARL X Bankside Yards 8 May 2026 Arch10 Bankside Yards 250 Blackfriars Road London SE1 9AX

Some gorgeous inspiration on how to layer pattern without it ever feeling too much. Proof that more really is more when the eye for colour and scale is this good. @emmasherlockltd @boz_gagovski

Last week, we had the pleasure of watching @matthewryle do what he does best - this time in the @subzerowolfuk Knightsbridge showroom kitchen. Matthew, Head Chef at @maisonfrancoislondon and @cafefrancoislondon , Sub-Zero & Wolf Ambassador and Sunday Times bestselling author of French Classics, cooked a three-course dinner for eight guests from the developer and design world. A lovely evening all round, and a reminder of just how good food tastes when it’s cooked using the right kit - thank you all for joining us.
