Open Continuum brings together prints made from my oil paintings, drawings, collages, and etchings, alongside a sound installation composed for the exhibition. The works reflect an ongoing dialogue between my visual and compositional practices, where ideas evolve in parallel through shared temporal processes.
I work through accumulation, repetition, erosion, and slow transformation. I approach image making with attention to rhythm, density, harmony, and silence, and I approach composition with sensitivity to colour, texture, space, and material presence. Methods developed in one medium reappear in another, allowing the work to move between image and sound without hierarchy.
Much of my work is shaped by an interest in non human perspectives, including animal, environmental, artificial, and speculative modes of perception. Working from positions that sit outside the human centre loosens inherited ways of making, allowing systems, materials, and time to take a more active role.

Open Continuum は、油彩作品をもとに制作した版画、ドローイング、コラージュ、エッチングに加え、本展のために作曲したサウンドインスタレーションによって構成されます。これらの作品は、私の視覚表現と作曲の実践のあいだで続く対話を映し出し、共有された時間的プロセスのなかで、アイデアが並行して展開していく様子を示しています。
私は、蓄積、反復、侵食、そしてゆるやかな変容を通して制作します。イメージ制作ではリズム、密度、調和、沈黙に注意を向け、作曲では色彩、質感、空間、素材としての存在感に敏感に向き合います。ある媒体で培われた方法が別の媒体に立ち現れ、イメージとサウンドが優劣のない関係のまま往復しながら作品が形づくられていきます。
私の制作の多くは、人間中心ではない視点への関心に形づくられています。それは動物や環境、人工的なもの、そして仮説的な知覚のあり方などを含みます。人間の中心から外れた位置から制作することで、これまで受け継がれてきた作り方がほぐれ、システムや素材、時間そのものが、より能動的な役割を担うようになります。
