Step into a hotel where the walls tell their own stories 🖼️
Each piece currently on display in our galleries was chosen to inspire, from the vivid vision of Rod McGaha to the sculptural play of Andrés Bustamante, the layered narratives of Eliza Frensley, and the striking compositions of Christa Collins. #YourStoryStartsHere
Step into a lobby that feels more like a gallery than a hotel entrance.
Every wall in our hotel is an opportunity to showcase creativity, spark conversation, and celebrate local artistry.
We’re proud to feature the incredible work of @eb_prints , whose vision transforms our space and invites guests to pause, reflect, and connect with art the moment they arrive. 🖼️
Because here, your stay begins with inspiration. #YourStoryStartsHere
‘Gomma's Angel Revisited' by Eliza Frensley, University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
“I use printmaking to reference the historical and contemporary qualities of communication, documentation, and the archive. I am inspired by the inability to distinguish between the truth of my family's heritage and the tendency to idealize history. My work goes beyond the questions of what is true or not true and reframes reality using existing evidence, such as photographs and storytelling, collaged with visually disruptive textures and metaphors. I explore the significance of origin and how perceptions and expectations are disseminated within families through the created narrative while challenging the concepts of linear time and real and imagined space.”

I recommend listening with headphones to hear the separation in the right and left ear. This was my first time learning how to collect footage, collect sound and edit in post using (Adobe Premiere Pro and Audition).
