Saturday May 30th at Crowbar Arcade. We have bands returning and Iâm personally looking forward to this show. Easy Blame from Cuse NY bringing a style of hardcore that mixes elements of noise and screamo. Itâs been a year since the last time they were here. Hailing from the Hudson Valley is Unfortuneteller and they blasted the PA hardcore with clotheslines at last Yearâs Summer Slam. Upside Down Cross from Cuse was here in Nov. and surprised all of us with their brutality of Hardcore. Floodlands was one of the first to play at Crowbar and they finally return after more than a year! Dungeon Slug returns yet again but I wasnât going to pass up playing with these great bands. Come check out our grizzly sludgy sound and weâre trying to have a couple of new songs for that show. If you like breakdowns then you will enjoy one of our newest. I wonât say how long the breakdown is. $10 ALL AGES 6pm Door
No Limit on the Words 041 is an interview with the Syracuse band, Easy Blame (@easyblame ). Are they hardcore, post-hardcore, screamo? Who cares?! They rip. Noisy, chaotic and dissonant one moment, reeled in and melodic the next, their newest EP (released by Invisible City Sound Archive (@invis.city )), Hypernormalized, traverses it all. All four members of the band joined me to talk about the record, the bandâs history, and why genre doesnât (but also kind of does) matter. Check it out at the link in the bio. #posthardcore #screamo #noiserock #syracusehardcore
Attention, loud music enjoyers! Hypernormalized will be released on @invis.city on December 2nd 2025!
