Closed the night with our talented performer @krispinamusic
This is why we do this
to make space for artists to be heard like this.
Go listen to his music 🎵
We spoke to @sarahmelawad an artist whose work turns memory, softness, and diaspora into something tangible.
Through @sabah__elkhair she builds pieces that carry feeling, where culture isn’t referenced, it’s lived.
This is the kind of work that stays with you.
Two weeks ago, we opened a door.
We invited our people into our house.
A house where stories weren’t translated or filtered, they were lived.
Where a dream wasn’t just spoken about , it was built in real time.
Where culture became capital. Where presence turned into ownership.
By us. For us.
But EastHaus didn’t start that night.
It was born from a vision.
Years of being in rooms , pitching brands, shaping narratives, building for others,
while rarely seeing ourselves fully reflected in what was being created.
For too long, “home” was something we referenced but never fully claimed.
A feeling we chased, but rarely felt reflected back to us.
As Arabs in the U.S., we’ve existed in the in-between.
Asked, directly or indirectly, to choose —
who we are there, or who we are here.
To shrink one identity to make the other more palatable.
EastHaus was created to reject that choice.
This is what it looks like to build our own rooms.
To define home on our terms.
To create spaces where our stories aren’t adjusted — they’re centered.
Where our culture isn’t aesthetic, it’s infrastructure.
And this is only the beginning. We can’t wait to show you what’s next. Thank you again to everyone who made that night special & everyone who came 🫶🏼
They’ll give you visibility.
But not ownership.
And I’ve seen how quickly that turns into stories that don’t really belong to us.
EastHaus is about changing that, creating space where we’re not just included, but leading what gets made.
The goal is bigger than this moment.
We’re building toward being part of the campaigns that define culture, not just appear in it.
Appreciate the space to share this.
🙏🏼

Amani, the founder of @muslimgirl , a platform that’s spent the last decade amplifying Muslim women’s voices , her work has been about creating what didn’t exist.
In her interview, she spoke about growing up as a Muslim girl and the lack of spaces that reflected her.
10 years later, spaces like Easthaus are part of that shift.

Built from a clear point of view.
Arab talent has never lacked creativity,
it’s lacked access, backing, and ownership.
So this was built differently.
With intention. With standards. With us at the center.
In conversation with Omar from Arab Socials.

For too long, Arab creatives have been overlooked & under-resourced, while still shaping culture in ways the world benefits from.
EastHaus is building spaces where that shifts. Where our work is valued, resourced, and seen on its own terms.
Grateful to every artist, performer, and vendor who brought this to life, your presence shaped the room in ways that can’t be replicated.
This was just the beginning!

This project was a special journey from the start. It began with an idea from Dena at EastHaus Studio, who brought her vision to us to bring to life. From that initial spark to the curated moodboard, every detail was intentional.
I shared my floral inspiration with Anar Studios, and she absolutely came through with the designs. Bringing these moments to life alongside such creative partners is exactly why I love what I do.

EASTHAUS.
We brought together a room that felt bigger than the moment, artists, founders, creatives, all under one roof.
From the performances to the brand activations and pop-ups, every detail was rooted in culture, connection, and energy you could feel.
Thank you to everyone who showed up, contributed, and made it what it was.
