Last week in Soho, we had the rare honour of welcoming six extraordinary Indigenous leaders and land defenders from Brazil: Moisés Piyãko, Shãtsi Piyãko, Juliana Kerexu Mirim, Arnildo Werá, Angela Mendes, and Claudelice da Silva Santos.
 Facilitated by @themilkingparlour of @global_diversity , Embedding Diversity for a Flourishing Future brought us into deep listening, reverence, and collective remembering.
 So many of the voices that night spoke to resistance not as rage, but as rootedness. As care. As a collective insistence on joy. As a commitment to protect what we love—no matter the cost. A full moon does the same. Two veils thinning at once. Pay attention to what comes through. Beltane is one of the four great fire festivals of the Celtic year, falling at the midpoint between the spring equinox and midsummer. The bright fire, the fire of blessing. A festival of crossing over: of the world becoming more alive, more lush, more insistent on itself. The year was never a line but a circle. Beltane is the great counterpoint to Samhain: where Samhain draws us toward darkness and the ancestors, Beltane erupts outward, green and sensual and solar. Yesterday over 100 people joined the Pollinator Pilgrimage. We sang ancient folk songs, planted thousands of wildflower seeds and learnt how we can all participate in regenerating cities for people and pollinators. It was an honour to visit some of the community projects that have been doing this work for years. The Pilgrimage was organised in celebration of the launch of @wildcities_ , who are creating a 14 mile nature corridor through London. What a week to begin. Wild Cities made its BBC London debut during Earth Day week, with Initiative Earth co-founder Christabel Reed sharing the story of a 14-mile nature corridor being built borough by borough, community by community. So exciting to see @wildcities_ featured on @bbcnews and @bbclondon today 💓 We started Initiative Earth to accelerate a mass-mobilised nature restoration moment. We started with the climate campaign EcoResolution, then the nature skills platform @earthed.co and today Wild Cities a flagship programme to combat the urban biodiversity crisis and increase access to nature for everyone. We are starting with a 14 mile nature corridor through London. We are working with an incredible network of collaborators including councils, communities and local businesses alongside football clubs and faith centres.
