Bob Marley: One love
Used to sing along to the LEGEND Compilation CD on my Dad’s Kenwood Hi-Fi!
And like so many people across the world, but particularly true for Caribbean households, I grew up with Bob Marley’s music as a soundtrack of sorts to my life. You can’t go to one ‘function’, whether it be a christening, a birthday, a wedding or a funeral, without hearing Bob’s voice. His music and lyrics have been a staple of many a family or community gathering. And if music be the food of love, then his music has proven to be of the most nutritious kind. We give thanks.
It’s been such a privilege to be a part of telling this story, to continue spreading Bob Marley’s message and working with this group of insanely talented artists.
And Jamaica… bwoyyy! 🇯🇲 The people, the culture, the food, the history, the wisdom, the influence… Makes you understand when Bob said ‘My richness is life, forever’
