There are some nights that stay with you forever… and The Janice Jam: Broadway for Breast Cancer is one of them. ❤️✨ In a room filled with music, love, storytelling, and hope, this incredible community came together to raise more than $143,000 for metastatic breast cancer research benefiting @bcrfcure and live streamed on @playbill Proud to share my story of living with MBC and outlook on life among the best of Broadway talent! 🎶 One of the most emotional moments of the evening was watching the beautiful Onco-Ballet performance while Kara Lindsay and Christine Dwyer sang “For Good.” The performance was such a moving reminder that even through loss, love continues to ripple forward in meaningful ways. I am so grateful for you and our friendship. there’s something quietly powerful about sitting in a room full of people choosing vulnerability on purpose. @mattdeangelis22 & @cteendryer you both inspire me beyond words. It was also incredibly special to witness the gorgeous @karalindsay1 receive the Fighting Flamingo Award for her bravery and courage 🦩The evening reminded me I don’t have to be fully “put together” to keep creating, dreaming, singing, being in the room and on the stage. Tami is a stage 4 breast cancer thriver, a passionate advocate, motivational speaker, and event producer dedicated to raising awareness and advancing research for metastatic breast cancer (MBC). She is also the founder of The Eagle Method and the leading thriver of The Janice Jam! Ashley is a singer, actress and voiceover artist who has been performing since she was 5. She is also a lead vocalist with the School of Rock House Band and recently appeared as a Junior Starduster at Ellen’s Stardust Diner. Ashley will also be performing at this year’s The Janice Jam! @thejanicejam was founded in 2023 by @mattdeangelis22 in loving memory of his mother, Janice, who passed away from metastatic breast cancer in 2022. The Janice Jam curates an unforgettable evening of Celebration, Remembrance, and Awareness each year. The event serves as both a tribute to Janice’s love for theater and a rallying cry for the millions affected by metastatic breast cancer, with 100% of net proceeds supporting research grants through the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), the world’s largest private funder of breast cancer research.
