Luke's and our @maolypico very first Christmas photo session. The cutest, bubbly, smiley, grumpy, old soul little man. Moments to forever treasure and now immortalized. Look like we need another picture frame and a little photo album.

A joyful spring with a cool daft punk tribute to Maoly birthday to more babychino with Luke and lots of ice cream. And if you reach the end you will witness our duet of Hercules, go the distance, bath style.
When did you get so big... 😢 😊 Can't wait to walk, run, bike, hike with you while we listen to music and watch movies at home or at the cinema. You'll be you Luke
My Faithful Steeds also known as War Bike and Sapphire.
War Bike just serviced recently with a new smooth dura ace BB, Mavic wheel bearings swapped too. Break cables and pads to continue enjoying those descents. Been rolling under me for 83.000k, who would've known. So many stories, PBs, attacks and close calls with it. Almost at 100.000k which would be magical.
Sapphire is still rolling good coming into her 1st year with me and 1st year with truer gravel rides as she was a proper commuter all throughout last year. I really want to explore unpaved trails.
Random start to 2026. Everything out of order. Graveling is fun, slippery, technical, physically exhausting on shirt level compared to Road. Road riding is a smidgen faster. Lost a bit of weight. Reconnected and connected with people. Still wear too many layers as many know. Descending is still fast and furious. And yes Le Mullet is here to stay with a full on Sam Elliott mustache in the works.

Little snippets of moments that have come and gone and will always live on in Daddy and Mama's memories.
From looking like Thomas Shelby to a firemen with your favorite 🚒 and visiting me at work to help me make some ☕ and being the cutest in the room. Now you have unlocked your selfie smile and we can't get enough of it. Soon you'll be 3 and we're ready and not ready at the same time. Strange how it's like that. You still play Moana on repeat on Disney or Spotify and Elmo "lala" is your bestie now.
Don't ever change my little Padawan, Dada will always love you as you are.
Wanted to post 40 pictures but 20 will have to do.
An image can mean so much depending on the viewer. Rain can deter most people but certain conditions make you go through it and take the harder path ahead. Sometimes it's just because you have to. Could also be for fun and to break out of the norm. Carry on with friends laughing through it all. Or finding A BATTLE you can win. Quite a few battles inside at the moment. You need a win sometimes, any win will do.
My ROAD TO 200.000M was a long journey and so is this post.
It had it's highs and lows, literally. In the beginning the plan was clear, average 3846m weekly or 549m daily. This meant X2 good rides on my day off with decent elevation and 600 - 900m before work if the schedule allowed it. I lost track a few times in the year. Socializing on flatter routes and losing focus on the goal. Of course, this meant that I had to push it harder during my annual vacation days and do some big days to compensate when the occasion arose. I also couldn't ride for some time due to vacation in summer, the annual flu, monthly Luke germs and bad weather.
Fitness was also affected since being in high zone 2 to 3 (140-160bpm) also changes your physiology. Steady and easy going was the name of the game. I was happy with 23 - 24av and 25av was already a fast day but I lost the spring in my step. When I rode with the boys I couldn't keep up with the intensity. I tried mixing in some intervals but this hindered me in the following days only causing more fatigue. Also riding with bad sleep was shit. But that's part of fatherhood. But seeing him run to me after the ride gave me a power up.
But as they say in Spain, "de bajón a subidón mola mogollón" so a few positives from this challenge.
Learning to descend and do so confidently. I wouldn't say I'm the best. Far from it but a little above average, maybe. Being able to follow and play with the best people I know is a great feeling.
Some Stats I've analyzed
Elevation ride podium
3131m 🥇 failed attempt - island loop
3057m 🥈 3 ports - Epic ride
2422m 🥉 Sa Calobra - after 2 years
Honorable mention 2375m 🏅 - the final push
25.6 av speed and 13.6m per km or 1.3% average gradient. False flat almost, wish it was.
Can't really explain how difficult it was to achieve this personal goal. But a more than a few words come to mind.
Consistency. Resilience. Perseverance. Stubbornness. Forward. Support. Regularity. Tenacity. Determination. Family support. Friendships. Hard work.
MA10 Col claret - Soller 📍
I’m no climber. And nor do I have quads for 7wpk efforts on the flats … ‘gal currently down’ … but I’m still full send behind the challenge of riding with faster and stronger riders … push & improve.
The golden ticket here is everyone having your back & the likes of @e.goitia by your side … a lil push, a lil song, a lil story, a lil draft, a lil encouragement, a big smile. Grateful bud x mucho x
Missing video goat capture rather unlike me
Missing JB
Missing a good camera but gonna stick with the shit content as everyone else has the gold content covered

Missing my legs

Missing the island already

The road to 200.000m has been a difficult one these last few months.
The constant fatigue. The long nights that lead to early mornings. The consistency. The preparation. The planning. The wet roads as of late. The hit and miss with clothing which leads to overheating or chilly outings.
The constant search for the perfect efficient route. Which I decided that Establiments to Claret is the best this time of year due to better road surface in wet conditions, local legend at this point. I've tried Sa Creu but it's a bit too technical and green for me also going through the city and traffic early in the morning was a waste of time. Also tried Coll de Sóller but it's a long straight road to that mountain and did more flat than elevation. Coll dhonor was also a bit challenging to get too and repeats were sketchy at some points and Sa granja was the freezer climb being in its own valley and the greenest. But if the time was right the coast never hurt clockwise or anti clockwise even back and forth which could give me 1900m more or less.
But those few perfect days. Sunrise turning chilly mornings into sunlit perfection, leading you on and encouraging you to push through the misty mountain passes. The battle continues and the war is almost over on my Road to 200.000m
