Solo escape to Andalucia.
I felt very fortunate to discover another great cycling region in Spain. What a pleasure to conquer tough La Vuelta climbs including the Pico del Veleta which is the highest „paved“ road in Europe. 3.398 m.
The Sierra Nevada is way less touristic than Mallorca and Girona. I like when everything is a bit more rough and loved the local hospitality.
I’ll be back.
Btw: Granada is named after the pomegranate fruit.
