C’était jeudi soir à Madiana lors du Rivages Film Festival. Et on en ressort encore émus. 🌊🎬 La projection de Katrina Babies de @e.buckles a tenu toutes ses promesses. Un film qui ne laisse personne indifférent. Des images qui restent. Des voix qu’on n’oublie pas. La médiation qui a suivi a été d’une richesse rare, les échanges entre spectateurs se sont poursuivis. On tient à remercier chaleureusement Edward Buckles Jr. pour avoir porté avec une telle force et une telle humanité l’histoire de sa communauté. Raconter le trauma de l’ouragan Katrina à travers les yeux d’enfants qui l’ont vécu, c’est un acte de mémoire, de courage et de cinéma. Merci. 🙏🏾
