"The score was designed to drive the film’s momentum without overpowering the friendly yet serious voiceover. With a percussion-only brief, the focus shifted from tonality to rhythm, dynamics, and articulation, drawing on terrace sounds, atonal crowd noise, and the percussive energy of the Premier League. Layered percussion was composed, edited, and recorded with a percussionist, then enhanced in the mix using parallel saturation and compression to add weight and impact. The music and sound design were shaped around the voiceover using gating, ducking, and volume rides, while EQ, compression, and tape saturation enriched the vocal tone and supported the narrative."

Getting to work with Heidi last year on the 'Blaydon Races' reboot - the track that soundtracked the reunion of @nufc and @adidas in the film directed by @dan_emmerson_ - was an absolute privilege. It was clear then that we were working with a star that possessed exceptional talent!

We had an amazing time recently with Director @tombotchii attending the seminal Horror Film Festival @grimmfest , at the Odeon Great Northern in Manchester, for the World Premiere of Syphon, from No More Idols Productions.
The foley and sound design was by @e.a.r_studios@josephbellmusic.co.uk . Crazy methods at play with this one, most notably using a pigs head - yuck!
