Strategist Thrain is the logistical mastermind behind the 313 Prospector Anvil. He has never been fond of the battlefield and while that is certainly part of his repertoire of knowledge, he is much more fond of logistics. Which, is where he really shines - being able to make sure the right supplies, the right units, the right everything is where it needs to be and on time.
The 313 Prospector Anvil has never gone hungry, they have never gone without bullets, they have never gone without... because of Thrain.
His personal motto is: "All outcomes are provisioned."
The backbone of the 313 Prospector Anvil are its Hearthkyn. These warriors are often part of the mining teams themselves and stand ready to pick up arms if needed.
Shift-1 "Wedgecrew" are made up of mostly Kin who have shown a knack for combat and are working their way to proving they are capable of serving with the Hearthguard. They do have some more grizzled miners and prospectors who help shape the squad into a flexible and cohesive force that understands both sides of operations - mining and defense.
Their motto is "By wedge and bolter"
Shift 3 of the Combat Engineering/Heavy Support arm of Forge Division, 313 Prospector Anvil is the Forgebreakers. These Thunderkyn specialize in demolitions and siege warfare. Their motto is "No wall stands, No debt remains."
They will be getting patched up before their first deployment in May.
Started working on some Steeljack Proxies.
The 313 Prospector Anvil has been operating in far space, for as long as anyone on the voidcraft can remember and rarely have contact with the Trans-Hyperion Alliance galactic core.
Most of their mining equipment can be repurposed for fighting when necessary. These mining units are modular and this group can be repurposed as Steeljacks with ranged weaponry... at least that's the concept for these dudes!

First time painting a deep dark skin tone and I think I was able to pull it off. Was definitely equal parts fun and infuriating to get it right.
Sculpting the scroll was a ton of fun too!
Finished my count-as melee Steeljacks, or as they are known in the 313 Prospector Anvil force org: Shieldkin.
Shieldkin, much like their Steeljack brothers, are highly durable immovable objects. As the 313 Prospector Anvil is oft in the far-flung corners of space away from the galactic core mining they rarely get allocated the much coveted Steeljacks.
Organized into "shifts," like other Hearthguard in the 313. Shift-1 is named "Void Bastion" and is the immovable fulcrum for the military arm of the 313 Prospector Anvil. Their motto is "We hold, beyond the fall," to signify when others may route or when all is lost - they hold so that their kin may regroup and survive.

Originally was attempting a tri coloroed glaive with a ton of glazing and I just never liked the way it came out. So I went a bit more traditional with it.
