Bless up and thank you to everyone who came out
Last week was a major one crossed off the bucketlist. Night 1 of Deadrocks we brought CRT TVs to the Red Rocks stage.
All the love to my brothers in @obsdn.labs for bringing me and a few of my tubes on this journey. First tour in the bag. So excited to take a little breather and come back bigger and better.
Thanks to everyone who’s ever shown support, booked me on a gig or gifted me an old TV they found in their grandparents basement.
And big shout out to @zedsdead and the killer folks we have been working alongside.

THIS FRIDAY - @hauscatz 5 year anniversary - proper warehouse Halloween function featuring @lau.ra.lau.ra.lau.ra (Denver debut)
Danley sound via @secondnature303
Hyped to stack tubes and run viz in a fresh warehouse
Shout out my mom on the flick 📸
Still finding magic within this old machine.
Footage from “The Wall” processed through a homemade glitch device, fed into the Panasonic MX50, mixed with glitch processed internal feedback, mosaic, paint, and negative effects + green hued downstream key - all audio synced to ‘A Brand New Start’ - Ross from Friends.
No tinkering with buttons or knobs here, I let the MX50s AV Syncho function do all the work.
I’m splitting a single video output from the MX50 here into two sources via a passive - mono to stereo - type cord - one fed back into the MX50s video input 1 (which creates the internal feedback streaking across the screen) and the other back into the external camera input which is being revealed via the green downstream key effect. The sauce with feeding an output back into the external camera input is that it gives the downstream key a “ringing” effect similar to one you’d see when processing footage through glitch devices. It also seems to overwhelm the mixer at times causing sometimes undesirable and unpredictable dropouts.
The glitch devices processing both the footage from “The Wall,” as well as the internal feedback, were circuit bent by me. I haven’t played with them in years and am finding their very limited knobs and switches fun to work with.
Really love how the mosaic effect plays with everything in this blend. Was tempted to watch the remainder of the film this way.
Tv installation for @neonnoirclub
In collaboration with @obsdn.labs
Found within the installation was a clue for an event-wide scavenger hunt.

“The Noir Foundation for Research has made the archaeological find of the century. Hidden deep within an island jungle, a newly discovered site challenges previous knowledge of ancient civilizations. The last communication from the on-site survey team reports the finding of a magical jade amulet within the site’s main antechamber. They haven’t been heard from since. We are requesting the expertise of additional field agents to establish contact with the team and further explore the mysteries of the LOST CITY.”
Until next time….
