Serious post: Ok, honesty time. I’ve not been doing very well lately. Rough therapy session and my little noggin is frazzled.
I’d just got back from a dog walk and was having a little weep. Standard.
Instead of trying to distract myself and shake it off, I thought I’d treat myself to a little wallow. So I played Billie Eilish’s ‘What Was I Made For’?
It makes me cry every single time I hear it. I used to listen to it after Mum died whenever I could convince my grief-stricken body to go out for a jog.
Just as I was in full sad-sack wallow mode, this little fellow crawled out of my sleeve. Part of me wanted to jump off the sofa (he tickled) but I just sat there as the beautiful song played out and watched this symbol of metamorphosis.
He’s now outside safely on a leaf. Just checked and he’s doing ok. ✔️
Keep your eyes peeled for those little signs that the universe still wants you to keep going. ✨
Some are subtle and some just make themselves known, loud and clear. 🐛
