🧨 A Peppered Fruit Wafter in a solid bag with a few Peppered Fruit boilies scattered around didn’t job as he bested his old PV by a massive 19lbs.

Never say never — and this weekend proved it.
A few weeks back I was convinced the fish were on the verge of spawning. Fast‑forward to now and… nothing. With that in mind, and after a long week at work, I was genuinely torn about making the effort over the bridge. I’m glad I trusted my gut.
The lake was quiet — properly quiet — and something told me to drop straight back into the spot I’d left and just press repeat. Within a few hours, that decision paid off in style. One of The Wharf’s originals, The Box Common at 33lb, slipped up first. Not long after, I had one of the remaining Harrows I’d been desperate to catch, just ounces under 30lb.
Then came the chaos. A double take in the early hours of Sunday morning produced two very heavily spawned‑out mid‑20s. With fish safety always front and centre, they went straight back without any fuss so no attempted self‑takes — no point stressing them further.
The Wharf was kind to me one last time. A proper send‑off.

🧨 A 35lb 8oz leather and 34lb 4oz common both caught a Pink Shellfish N-Ticer pop-up over the new salted Buckwheat & Maples, Frienzied hempseed, 15mm Complex-T moed with 12mm Hot Crab & Krill boilie.

We're used to seeing @kristofcuderman holding monsters but not usually of this variety. I don't think you can deny their prehistoric beauty, a seriously cool looking fishing!
This one was part of a recent trip to Hungary where he caught 5 of them between 40 and 60kg 🤯
Of course he managed some big old carp as well so keep an eye out for those soon.
