We went on an island hopping tour and our last stop was Survivor Island, which definitely lived up to its name 🏝️ We were dropped off here in the heat of the day when the sand was unbareably hot and none of us had shoes 😂

The Maldives is incredible! Beyond the picturesque waves, the water clarity and sea life are unlike anything I have ever seen! Seeing reef sharks, giant rays and fish swimming underneath while surfing blew my mind! Grateful to have had this experience 🙏

Spent a week in Guinjata Bay, Mozambique with the best crew of friends! I wasn’t sure how the waves would turn out, but things lit up for us on day 3 and we had a perfect sand bottom point all to ourselves! It may be tough to get there, but the people, culture and place are incredible 🙏 Thank you to @villacastellos for hosting us! I’ll definitely be back.

MND has changed a lot for my family, but it hasn’t changed my mom’s tenacity for good. Since my mom’s diagnosis with MND, she has been determined to turn the situation around - to help others who are dealing with the disease and to create awareness for those facing it. I am super proud by the way in which she has kept her incredibly big heart while facing such adversity. I have seen first hand how tough the disease has been for her and for our family.
Thankfully, we have insurance that helps with our medical expenses, but many families are struggling without that kind of financial security. The Motor Neurone Disease Association of South Africa is raising funds to support those who do not have the means to cover the necessary care that comes with this disease.
By cycling the Cape Town Cycle Tour, I am helping to raise funds for families who do not have adequate resources to cope with the challenges of MND.
