Honor Roll Skate Crew Presents: I Want You Back
When approaching each challenge in this competition, we asked ourselves:
1.) What can we do that’s next level and true to us?
2.) What can we do that shows pure skating ability?
3.) How many different ways can we execute this challenge?
4.) And how many times can we do it?
This week each crew member was challenged to leave the ground all at once, paying homage to the great liftoff in the 60s. How many times can you count?

This last week and a half has been crazy! From a phone call from my bro @crowne_vick about this job @ 1:30 am to booking my flight to LA for 6:30pm the next day. Thank you bro for your trust in me and shoutout to my brother Darion for the connect.

To my bro @unszned I’m grateful to have been apart of this project together. from battling at cascade 5 years ago to performing on this stage is crazy! I’m glad we locked in 🤞🏽
To the other dancers in the camp (tagged below) thank yall for inspiring me daily and making the whole experience nothing but amazing! I was able to share the stage with legends and see the hard work it takes to produce the kind of magic they did.

Anyways this was long but I’m blessed to be able to have these opportunities and they only happen when there’s a group of people who believe in you. So I’m grateful to have that trust and belief. And I went crazy during this! Peep my hat falls off in the middle of my back handspring and I catch it before it hits the ground and continue on 🤣

Do you remember your first time skating? 🛼
For me it was somewhere in the 2010-2011 era when I first laced up and developed a deep passion for skating. Along my journey I’ve developed in so many different ways to lead me to where I am today. But one thing remains constant: I’m always excited to skate and connect with music and people ❤️

I danced in high school and would often travel to take classes from choreographers who travelled from LA to Chicago/Nashville. After high school I hadn’t danced much, maybe a 1-4 masterclasses a year. While on tour I challenged myself to find a dance class and found @thecompanyberlin was hosting a workshop with @alexchambers28 . It’s always a little nerve wracking dancing in new spaces but I had a really good time and a good push.
