For my second year at @uogfilmtv I wrote, directed, produced, and edited @clarityshortfilm but none of it would’ve been possible without the wonderful cast and crew around me. What started out as an idea at the beginning of the year is now almost a complete film. The cast brought everything to this project and blew us all away. The crew pushed our creativity in ways I’m really proud of. I can’t wait for you to see what we’ve cooked up. Clarity is a sci-fi short film set in 2033, following Cal, a man uncovering the truth behind the neural implant guiding 98% of humanity, and must choose between his own comfort and freedom. CREM is a new short documentary I’m producing, directed by @jacob.turton.752 Crem is the story of a skate park in Stafford that was home to a thriving skate community from 2020-2022, before being demolished following complaints from nearby residents claiming “antisocial behaviour” and then replaced with a wooden trim trail that remains largely unused. We spoke to the skaters who grew up at Crem, reflecting on the golden days, the reasons behind its removal, and the wider importance of spaces like this for young people in Stafford today. This year I wrote and directed my first short film @thegreateduardoshortfilm A period-drama, set in 1905, which follows deaf magician Eduard who attempts to revive the escape act that killed his father, destined to become The Great Eduardo. ✨ Huge thank you to everyone involved!
