@stephenstreetgallery An exhibition featuring works by immigrant artists who arrived in the United States as undocumented minors, alongside artists with family histories shaped by migration and border crossings. ¡Te Amo Porque S.O.S. Pueblo! takes its name from the poem “Te Quiero” by Uruguayan poet Mario Benedetti, which translates to “I love you because you are my people,” with “S.O.S.” stylized to evoke a state of emergency in response to the current climate of hate, racism, deportations, and terror.
