Pouring the morning session for TBA @teabasedambiance at LiB 2025 After managing Elixart all night, I loved spending my morning pouring and landing at the TBA lounge. Having that morning cushey comedown zone for all the festival goers is so important and treasured. People tell stories of the night and connect at a slower pace then they did during the wild night of the festival. After flying upwards into our visions and aural sensations we sit down and socialize eye to eye and sip a warm tea. We can come back to our hearts and the human community after flying far away. Pouring and pondering at @teabasedambiance private showing There's something to be said about the formative pressure that comes from serving "on stage". When I exude positive energy and gregariousness, it's immediately reflected back to me and increases each other like a wave function or a positive feedback loop. Conversely, the same happens for feelings of tension, close mindedness, or despondency. This lends itself to a sort of responsibility to the server of the tea. As, being water and medicine, the tea is a strong carrier for the energies of the server. Once this is realized one can begin to accept a sort of gravity to what they're doing, and what they are emanating. This pressure creates a new ability, to let life go and carry on with the magic of service. When I can fully let go of even the worst days and give myself to the action itself and the others receiving, it's truly divine. When I emit the heart of darkness and have it immediately reflected back, it's a rather hellish experience. Through 10+ years experience I've gotten better at the higher path, but, lo....shall the dark teach you too. Thankful for this crucible and path to grow consciousness in. DJing my 35th birthday party at Elixart, March 4th Was happy to throw my first real party since my 30th birthday banger.(That infamous one that got my entire 8 person house evicted😭) Felt great to be celebrated and it meant a lot to me to receive blessings from all the fam that came out to share joy with me. Got to DJ on my new Mastersounds Radius 4 till 6am and was laughing, klasking, and carousing all night. This community has given me so much and I work to give back everything I can, body and soul, to reciprocate the karma. It always feels worth it, and I'm so blessed to be a classic character in this legendary town. I love Nevada City and Elixart and feel at home and grounded in my soul here. Everyday a waking dream of service to a worthwhile community filled with reflections of the divine. And, always grounded in the cosmic joke. A true earthbound reflection of The Absolute. Pouring tea into the foreground at Bhakti Fest 2023 Water holds energy from the people and vibes surrounding it. Exemplified in the research of Masaru Emoto. In ancient tea culture this has been known for a long time. The person who pours the tea and their aura changes the experience of the tea. The same tea tastes and feels different when poured by different people, in different moods, and with different intentions. Keeping personal energy clear and setting clear intention with every cup poured is an important aspect of being a tea pourer. Thanks to master @ronjon_crystal_teatime for bringing me to this festival to pour alongside him, and always teaching this crucial aspect of serving tea. Can't stop, won't stop, why stop? Last sunrise at @imagine.or gathering. Sometimes people ask, "Are you going to stop serving and have some fun?" I always surprise them by explaining that, to me, serving elixirs throughout the night is the most fun. I have a large hand in maintaining and molding the vibe of the social gathering. My skills and beverage creations keep people conscious, social, and ecstatic far past the level they would have reached on their own. Performers ask for custom pre-performance elixirs, that contribute to their artistic expression and communication. Giving me a share in the success and reception of their hard work and performance. People slipping into tiredness, social anxiety, or psychedelic confusion are uplifted into a grounded social flow, so they may continue to contribute and enjoy the community. The hard working team of the event have their individual spirits lifted so they may continue to do their duties effectively and in a spirit of joy, teamwork and service. A skilled elixologist provides support to the energy of the event in ways that are hard to quantify but, when witnessed, manifest as elemental pillars in the soul of the experience. This event was formative in my expansion towards adepthood in the practice of elixology. Flying out of state, alone, to be the only elixir offering at a small (300ish people) upscale event that had a few acquaintances, but no close relations, was a learning edge for me. Proving that I could show up to basically any elixir inclined scene, and provide stellar service, artfully chosen personal recommendations, and convivial attitude to the guests, has solidified my attainment of being one of the leading elixologists in this exciting and new, (yet ancient) offering. Thanks to Imagine OR for reaching out to request my presence. And thank you to all the workers and attendees who entrusted me with their body and psyche by receiving drinks from me.
