Guest performers 😍 The DerbyVision fun is not over yet! During the interval we have 6 brilliant guests performers from Stockbrook and beyond 👀 ➡️Blaise An R&B artist blending moody textures with soulful storytelling. Having toured the UK, Ireland and Asia, his sound draws influence from artists like SZA and Brent Faiyaz. ➡️B Casa A Derby-born artist and producer who blends the soulful influence of Motown, the pulse of UK underground culture and today’s modern genres. Rooted in his Caribbean/UK heritage, B Casa creates soul-cutting tracks that connect, inspire and evolve. ➡️Jon McKenzie He’s a self-taught, self-produced and self-motivated singer/songwriter with a love for lyrical storytelling and unusual concepts. Unbound by genre constraints, his style varies from song to song but at the centre of it all is an unmistakable sound that fans dubbed ‘Joncore’. ➡️Ashti A duo made of Dlivan Salih and Carol Fieldhouse, who met through Derbyshire Refugee Solidarity Music Group and formed a band in September 2023. Dlivan is a singer/songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist from Kurdistan and Carol is a singer/songwriter and local community musician. ➡️Slendz An emerging UK rapper bringing raw lyricism, sharp wordplay and real-life storytelling to the forefront of a new generation. He first found his voice through poetry before channeling that same depth and precision into music, creating a style that blends introspection with hard-hitting bars. 🩷Terrianne Our DerbyVision winner is joining to open the event and judge on the night! Terrianne is a gritty powerhouse pop artist known for energetic live performances. Inspired by artists like Raye, Chinchilla & Caity Baser, Terrianne’s set will have you crying one moment and dancing the next. Proud to announce that I’m representing Chester Green in this years Derbyvision by @dtcommunities 💫 @derbytheatre Come see me competing in this year’s competition with my latest release “Be Adored”. “Be Adored” is a track that always makes me dance because it’s about finding happiness within myself and that’s what creating music feels like for me, it’s an adventure that never ends. This song is me, in my most vulnerable state. It’s the first track I had written about my feelings towards myself, rather than about love for others. When I write songs, it’s not planned. I create a bass line and sing until something fits. It’s only when I listen back to the finished track that I can truly read between my own lines. As someone who struggles with emotion, expression through music is my release. After a long battle with severe anxiety after my Dad’s passing, I’d healed enough to finally stop and allow myself to believe that I’d gotten better. I made it out because of how much work I did for myself and that’s what “Be Adored” really means to me; I’m ready, I’m here, I’m Lilly f*cking Sphire🖤 Tickets: /book-online/840816/ Location: 22nd May 6pm onwards at St. Luke’s Church, Stockbrook, Derby DE22 ERT #womeninelectronicmusic #derbyvision #eurovision #songcompetition
