This powerful moment of celebration, joy, and community was made possible through the dedication and leadership of our student organizers. Spearheaded by
@asedombaruch and supported through collaboration with numerous student organizations (including
@islabaruch ,
@ec_baruch ,
@lasobaruch ,
@prssbaruch ,
@mexiculture_baruch ,
@alpfabaruch , and many others) this initiative reflected the strength of collective action.
Beyond student leadership, campus departments including
@baruchstudentlife ,
@bls_baruch ,
@baruchseek and countless others came together to ensure that students’ visions were honored, supported, and elevated.
This was a moment to unite and take pride in our diverse Latin backgrounds. It was deeply meaningful to be part of a space that celebrated our roots, honored our stories, and affirmed our futures—especially at a time when affirmative action has been dismantled, DEI rollbacks continue to reshape our educational and professional landscapes, universities are being denied the right to have affinity grads, and policies are increasingly being enacted that threaten equity, access, and the futures of historically marginalized communities.
Congratulations to the Class of 2026 for this historic and inspiring milestone!
