🌷 Early Mother’s Day 🌷
With Mother’s Day just about a month away,
I’ve been thinking a lot about how meaningful it is to give something that truly lasts.
Growing up, my parents never really took professional photos. As a photographer, I always felt that was such a pity — they would say it’s too much trouble, or that they’re older now and not as photogenic.
But honestly, every version of ourselves is worth capturing. There is a quiet beauty in every stage of life — and these moments, once gone, can’t be recreated.
This year, I’m spending Mother’s Day in the U.S., away from my own parents. But I’ve also been given another set of parents here — and it felt so special to create something meaningful for them.
I helped plan their outfits, had a makeup artist @beauty_by_yen get my mother-in-law ready,
and watching everything come together… it reminded me how valuable these memories are.
Photos aren’t just for now —
they become something you look back on years later, and feel everything again.
If you’ve been thinking about doing something special for your mom (or your parents), this could be a really beautiful way to celebrate them!

In 2026, I hope I can be more confident, stop overthinking, and just let myself do things without constantly second-guessing.

It’s my first group exhibition in the U.S., and I’m truly honored. I’m especially grateful for Maggie’s thoughtful coordination and communication throughout the process.
It’s been a while since I presented myself as an artist, so this opportunity means a lot to me. I really cherish the experience and everything I’ve learned along the way.
