Last Sunday, I had the sweetest time celebrating my dear friend @catcathry at her bridal shower 🤍
As her wedding planner, it meant so much to witness this beautiful moment! The bridesmaids @yenyen_archer@mlikeadoor created the most delicate baby blue bow–themed setup.
Each of the girls brought handmade dishes and strung bracelets as a blessing for the bride ✨
A custom cake, soft afternoon light, and so much love in the room — can’t wait for her big day this June 🩵🌿
🌷 Early Mother’s Day 🌷
With Mother’s Day just about a month away,
I’ve been thinking a lot about how meaningful it is to give something that truly lasts.
Growing up, my parents never really took professional photos. As a photographer, I always felt that was such a pity — they would say it’s too much trouble, or that they’re older now and not as photogenic.
But honestly, every version of ourselves is worth capturing. There is a quiet beauty in every stage of life — and these moments, once gone, can’t be recreated.
This year, I’m spending Mother’s Day in the U.S., away from my own parents. But I’ve also been given another set of parents here — and it felt so special to create something meaningful for them.
I helped plan their outfits, had a makeup artist @beauty_by_yen get my mother-in-law ready,
and watching everything come together… it reminded me how valuable these memories are.
Photos aren’t just for now —
they become something you look back on years later, and feel everything again.
