This top was the very first knit top I ever made. It's from an independent pattern company that's no longer in business. My pants are from #cashmerettepatterns, magna pants from the book "Ahead of the Curve".
I missed yesterday. Ohio finally had a decent day to get outside and plant some flowers and get my vegetable beds ready for planting. Didn't have any me made clothes for working in the garden.

My newest @stylefalcon Sublime Shell. I had a chambray blouse I made about 2 years ago at a workshop that I was never really happy about the way it fit. I took it apart and used what I could but didn't have enough for the front so I used a scrap of poplin shirting from my stash for the front. I'm really pleased with the way it turned out.
On my way to the dentist so I threw on my @sinclairpatterns journey hoodie. I liked how well it matched so I took another picture ☺️.

In the past I've started #memademay but always stopped because I didn't like some of my makes due to the way they fit. This is one of those makes. I have since then taken Pattern Fitting 101 twice from #tomkatstitchery. The second time you take the class it is 1/2 price. I learned so much about how to alter my patterns for a better fit. The other thing I discovered is that I make a lot of knit shirts and cardigans. So I've decided going forward I will add more woven tops to my wardrobe.

Going through my closet getting ready for #memademay I rediscovered my jean jacket I made about 5 years ago. I don't wear it often because I prefer cardigans. It's a Rebecca Page Sewing pattern, a pattern company no longer in business. And of course I needed to pair it with my new sneakers.
This was fun to make. I top stitched with a heavy cotton thread and then used sand paper to distress it. I accented the inside cuffs and under collar with quilters batik fabric.
The sun is out but it's a cool windy day in Ohio, perfect weather for a jean jacket.

Day 6 memademay I'm wearing a Fit for Art Tabula Rasa knit tunic. I paired it with my new sneakers I made with cotton quilt fabric from my stash. Super fun to make and comfortable to wear.

I'm off to vote. Today I'm wearing a camo jean jacket I made several years ago. The pattern is from Rebecca Page Patterns who is no longer in business which made me very sad. I was a pattern tester and ambassador for the company and really liked all their patterns. I paired it with a sleeveless Trudy Turtleneck from Wardrobe by Me.
