WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!
A note to you. And a note to myself.
If you were to be honest with yourself, honest with me, what's stopping you?
What's stopping you from executing that idea/change/evolution/relationship/connection you have?
Why haven't you left that toxic relationship/friendship/job/city/environment/mindset?
What are you waiting for? Who are you waiting for?
When will YOU do whatever the fuck YOU want to do?
For me, I think I wait for other people. I think I wait for people to step up around me, even though I don't communicate it as such first. Then get angry, like why arent they like that.
I wait for the universe. Everything will work out, the universe will make it happen. Its worked for me, until it hasnt. Its worked for me even more when I make it work and put in the effort.
I wait because I have "other" things to do. Other responsibilities that I tell myself I have, that really shouldn't take up as much time as they do.
I wait for energy. I wait for motivation. I wait till tomorrow. Till Monday. I'll wait till my gut tells me. Then ignore it.
But then I look back on my life and everything, EVERYTHING that I love about my life, ALL the best experiences are there because I didn't fucking wait and I took action.
I danced up to that girl. I booked that one-way plane ticket. I won that auction. I started that business. I booked the event. I (we) made those kids. I joined that entrepreneur group. I reach out to those people. I started that podcast. I made the calls, I had the meetings, I stayed those late nights.
EVERYTHING, absolutely everything you need is inside you waiting for you to take action. What has ever given you reason to think any differently.
Just. Do it.
p.s if you feel like being honest on this bullshit-filled social platform for a change, comment what is actually holding you back, no-holds-barred.

On the latest episode @markhawwa and I chat about the difference in driving a car vs riding a motorcycle, and it's the perfect analogy for how some people live their lives.
On a bike, you have to be hyper-aware. You are connected to the road (your path) with every part of you, and purposeful shifts of your body can put you on a whole new direction. You are also super observant of everything around you. You are awake.
When you drive a car, you are really an active passenger. How many times have you arrived somewhere in a car and not even known how you got there?
So which one are you in life, the rider in control, totally present, purposeful and ready for anything? or are you just an active passenger cruising along with the majority of the population?
I believe the main difference is FOCUS.
The most successful people I know say that the ability to focus 100% on any given task is like a superpower to them. I think people like riding motorcycles because its a forced focus. You have no other choice. People say riding is freedom, and I think its just that, freedom in focus. We don't have time to think about the million other things in our lives, we cant check out phone, make calls, procrastinate, multitask, every part of our being is needed so we don't fucking die. No distractions.
A lot of meditation styles are abut focusing on one thing.
Focus provides clarity.
And in clarity, we make better decisions and are more in touch with our true selves.
Imagine what you could achieve if you put that same kind of focus into everything you do in life.
Imagine your relationships, your creativity, your work, your health, your finances.
Become the rider of your life, awake, observant, ready to evade all of that dangerous shit that pops up in front of us without warning. Be purposeful and keep moving forward.
There's a reason motorcycles don't have reverse, it's because all the best shit in life is ahead of you. And what's behind you is behind you. Stay focused on moving forward.
