I wish I had behind the scenes grabs shooting this sauna scene. As you can imagine, a functioning sauna poses its challenges to photograph. If I were inside, the camera and lens would fog up. It couldn’t be turned off or I’d loose the steam. I had to shoot from the exterior and use glass refractions to obscure the images. I definitely had the team sweating profusely holding tube lights on the inside to light the talent. The finals came up great, no?

Crossing a continent.
Dust, salt, rain, mud and dirt.
In a two week cross-country adventure for @hyundaiaus we put their electric fleet through a true Australian test - thousands of kilometres on every kind of terrain we could throw at it. I had a time and a half capturing this campaign.

Anyone who’s been on set knows that the work matters but that it’s the moments in the making where the day really lives, the reason we love what we do and why we do it again and again. Half-finished coffees, bruised bodies, lugging luggage, cramped spaces, standing out by standing in, early mornings, late nights, laughter that gives you stitches and friends who have your back.
These behind the scenes frames snapped sneakily, silently and beautifully by the legendary @patsuraseang were too golden not to share on the grid.
These are from the first of 3 legs for a Peppers accommodation campaign last year with @leo_malfara and @lukeafuller under @wearepoolparty

The days stretch long here, in the Spanish countryside.
Stories pass through hands, tables, and dust and somehow stay.
Music, meals, lives all shaped by the same sun.
