LOVE LETTERS TO PORTO A project for which I was invited by @dsectionstudio to work with the @cmporto , through the Department of Tourism and Internationalization, led by Councillor @catarina.santos.cunha . With creative direction by @filipefangueiro , and production and coordination by @jonathan.sari (@maisonyauno ). I was responsible for photographing Porto for this project, covering different areas of the city, including places that are already part of my routine and others I explored for the first time. The goal was to create a current, consistent, and faithful portrait of Porto. Most of the images in the book result from this continuous work in the field and from the way I observe the city daily. The photobook LOVE LETTERS TO PORTO can be found exclusively in the city’s hotels, created for visitors and also guided by @visitporto . This post gathers some of my favorite frames captured during these days dedicated to photographing the city. These are images that are part of the photobook and that reflect the way I see Porto.

The Municipality of Porto and Visit Porto celebrate the city in a new publication that chooses image as the messenger of a love that words cannot contain. Featuring photographs by Henrique Queirós, Mateus da Cunha, and Paulo Meixedo, the book “Love Letters to Porto” will be distributed across the city’s hotels. With everyone’s contribution and commitment, Porto has consolidated its place as a vibrant, authentic, and inspiring destination.
