How do you like to celebrate Mother's Day? Some of us like to send our family out of the house and relax in silence. While others want to indulge in as much family time as possible. Me personally, I like to do both. Today I'm having a light breakfast in bed, alone with a couple of cats and then I'm off to a Mother's Day Brunch ❤️
I would also like to mention, on my my first Mother's Day as a
mom, I did not have an earthside child. I just want to give a special "Happy Mother's Day", to the mothers with empty arms.

Anyway, this is not sponsored at all, I just absolutely loved paper dolls as a child and have been waiting not-so-patiently for my kiddo to be old enough to join in. I did not expect him to love it as much as I do!
And the lovely owner of @lowercasetoys gifted this set to me at @hhamericas , possibly seeing how excited I was to see that paper dolls got an upgrade. Again, this was "baby drunk knitter's" favorite craft as a child. No wonder I grew up to be a designer! Trust and believe, if my kiddo didn't latch on to this set, I would clear off a Sunday afternoon to play with it myself 🤣.
Also, fun fact, it's a tradition for Bub's and I to do a "mommy & me" activity after I am away on a work trip.

P.S. Let me brag on my baby for a minute because, what do you mean he played with this while listening to an audiobook about Ruby Bridges, completely on his own accord? And then began to ask us (the parents!) critical thinking questions?? Mind you, he downloaded the book (via his e-learning program) on his own accord. Safe to say I think the kids are gonna be alright❤️

I am parting ways with the Rainbowgan🌈
This Rainbowgan sample will be up for grabs during my sample sale, which starts tomorrow (on my website) for Patreon members and will go on from Friday - Sunday.
This sample holds quite a bit of sentimental value because it was knit after having my rainbow baby and during the pandemic. But, I don't really wear it because I'm not too keen on bright colors. But it's so cute, I figured it'll find a good home.

I can hardly believe I'm doing this. Years ago, I swore never to sell my samples because I love them so much. But after designing for SEVEN years, I am drowning in samples. Literally. So I'm holding a sample sale and I'm very anxious about it 😭🫣.
I've been playing around with the idea of selling physical products on my Patreon by giving out my printed patterns as a perk. And you know what? Mailing physical products is not as scary as it sounds.
And so, I present to you my sample sale, which will run through this weekend (5/1-5/3) Patreon members will of course have early access and an even deeper discount.
Each sample is sold "as is", well under market value. My goal is to find all of my knit babies good homes. I originally was going to donate them to the thrift, but I think I would cry at the prospect of them floating around in a landfill. (FYI, this is the unfortunate fate of most thrifted items)

Oh, and twinning will be up for sale as a set! As much as I love these two pieces because of their comfort, ease of wear, and even easier washing, I am not a huge fan of pink. I love the way it photographs, but I don't reach for pink often. So, she is up for sale, amongst other designs.
