It was nice to be involved in drum scanning Sian Davey’s negatives for her book The Garden. Over 120 pages filled with the most intimate and heartfelt portraits of family, friends and strangers. Sian and her son Luke took over a year to culture and sow hundreds of wildflowers and plants to use as a backdrop for Sian’s portraits. It really is a beautiful book. @siandavey1

A collection of early works by the sculptor Jeff Lowe. We scanned and retouched over 200 old transparencies and negatives from Jeff’s archive for his upcoming new book. His work is really stunning. To see more of his recent works and what Jeff has been up to head over to @jefflowesculptor and give him a follow. Film does not last forever so if you have an archive you want to digitise for safe keeping or to print from give us a shout.

Congratulations to @jessenavarrevos for getting shortlisted for the Taylor Wessing Prize this year with this striking portrait of his mother in a lift. I think the portrait of his mum with flowers is equally as nice and should have been shortlisted as well! @nationalportraitgallery #drumscan #filmsnotdead

Look closely to the bottom right of this image and you will see the American artist Joan Jonas standing next to a gigantic beautiful print of herself and her dog. The image was made by her nephew Toby Coulson and is hanging in MOMA New York as part of a major exhibition of Jonas's work. Safe to say this was a very large scan. The exhibition continues until July. @tobycoulson @themuseumofmodernart @broadcove

Again..what a gig to have..scanning for the formidable Errol Jones who for many years made some amazing behind the scenes images of the Prodigy on tour. The project is titled My Mates Band. These were shown recently at The Shoreditch Arts club as a mixture of large scale projections and conventional prints. The vibe was amazing and the work looked fab. They were mostly made on 35mm transparency which looks beautiful drum scanned. Well done Errol @orpheusonavee @shoreditchartsclub_ @theprodigyofficial
