As Principal and Director of @hamiltonsgallery , Tim Jefferies has spent decades shaping the conversation around photography in London. From championing iconic image-makers to presenting museum-quality exhibitions in the neighbourhood, Hamiltons remains one of the city’s most boundary-pushing galleries. For Tim, the magic of Mount Street Neighbourhood lies in its concentration of culture, style and hospitality. His after-work ritual? A vodka martini at The Connaught’s Coburg Bar. His one-word description of the area: iconic. And when it comes to art worth seeing right now, Tim’s pick is Tracey Emin: A Second Life at Tate Modern, (alongside anything currently on the walls at Hamiltons Gallery, of course). 📍Hamiltons Gallery, 13 Carlos Place, London W1K 2EU #ExploreMountStreet

Our current exhibition features a suite of five Summer Still Life compositions, captured in France in the early 1980s. Garner says ‘I am delighted by the way people have responded to these images. These intimate still lifes – made for my own amusement forty-plus years ago – are intensely personal yet capable, it would appear, of engaging an audience across the generations.’ Please enquire for pricing and availability. Hamiltons is delighted to present new work by British photographer Charles March from 4 November 2025 to 16 January 2026. Titled Sandscript, the exhibition showcases a body of work that continues March’s journey into abstraction, through images captured along the shoreline. The exhibition presents a new series of minimalist photographs, each the result of patient observation. March captures shadows, lines and textures that become meditations on the natural world, where sea grass, fragments and fleeting marks on sand appear as calligraphic inscriptions, soon erased by the tide or blown away by the wind. Moving towards abstraction, the works recall the fluid brushwork of Chinese ink painting. Rather than expansive landscapes, they are intimate studies, closer to sketches or drawings. Please enquire for pricing and availability. Images: Sandscript Series 1 I, 2023-2025 © Charles March Sandscript Series 2 I, 2023-2025 © Charles March
