ALEXANDER FLOOD (drums / bandleader)
Alexander Flood is one of Australia’s leading beat-makers, fusing nu-jazz, jazztronica and dance music from the drum chair. His sound draws from house, UK garage, broken beat and DnB, reimagined for a high-energy live band. Flood has toured Europe, the UK, Australia, NZ and India, appearing at London Jazz Festival, Ronnie Scott’s, WOMADelaide and MIJF. He has released music via Stretch Music, Jakarta Records and Atjazz Record Company, and has collaborated with Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah, Moses Yoofee and Àbáse.
JAKE AMY (keys)
Jake Amy is a Melbourne-based pianist blending jazz harmony with hip hop, house and broken beat grooves. They have performed with Kaiit, Wafia and Gordon Koang, and supported Chaka Khan, Nile Rodgers, Thundercat, Cory Henry and Hiatus Kaiyote. Jake leads their own power trio, releasing debut album Doom in 2023. They are also the founder of Attaboi, a platform advocating for inclusivity within the Australian music scene.
DYLAN PAUL (bass)
Dylan Paul is an in-demand bassist and bandleader, equally at home on double bass and electric bass. A First Class Honours graduate of the Elder Conservatorium, he’s a key figure in the Adelaide jazz scene. Dylan is a DownBeat Student Music Award winner and Helpmann Academy Langley Award recipient. His releases as a bandleader include Short Walk Home and Change The Channel.
ERICA TUCCERI (flute)
Erica Tucceri is an improvising flutist, composer and producer at the forefront of Naarm’s music scene. She has collaborated with Surprise Chef, Don Glori, Close Counters, Jitwam and Alexander Flood. Her work has received praise from Gilles Peterson, Benji B and Motor City Drum Ensemble. Erica released debut single Iliamna in 2023, sold out her MIJF debut, and is preparing her debut album for 2026.
