April dump time.
Friends got married, tons of changes and more good time.
From working new fields, to new fashion work, the usual Esports grind and always finding my way to play some Magic the gathering.
April and May became the months of checking of boxes and a bit if recharging. Glad to be shifting and always evolving.
Life is healing, life is living.
We are thriving in the caos, while dreaming at night.

Like I said we are catching up a bit!
March recap coming in on time for once.
March was a month of change. New opportunities, new challenges and a lot of thinking. I had to make a decision and prepare for something that it is out of my control, so I finally can take it back when the time is right.
We are shifting the focus to more ambitious projects than ever before, but have to accept that we need to slow down now to prepare this huge step. It is overwhelming to navigate this while nothing is clear, nothing is steady and a whole lot of mess happening in general, but we made it.
It all start with finishing off projects in the first half. Make room to go back to shooting, clear up some of the pilled up backlog of work. The adventure kicked off with me following my friends at @kackundsach on the road again. Filming, photos and many good memories.
It wouldn’t be me if I wasn’t also preparing my first two big shoots of the year while finishing post production on jobs and on the road right?
Well I arrived back from the tour to set up for the next shoot immediately together with my DoP on the Project @hansprzybilla we prepared a shoot I worked for a bit with and for @giantxleague ! It was equally fun and challenging at the same time, feels great to do bigger projects in Esports again.
But as if it wasn’t enough the days after it I did the video production of @lucyhellenbrecht.official first collection while helping out in Production as we did the studio part of the shoot at my old studio. Officially being the last production I did at Silly.
But again it wouldn’t be me if it was already everything for the week than I DoP at two shoots right after.
Joining @akamask_ on his last shoot for the @esports_player_foundation . Just to support @keepingupwiththekardamom the day after to shoot a familiar face. Ouh hey its Spoit!
Made some friends at some Jam sessions and in between the late editing sessions with @justin.irl I found some time to play some smash and magic the gathering somehow.
However, I think the coolest story of the month goes to the fun trip I did with @yunakimaru & @noackdp to watch the preview of @marcelo.rod@hummus.shortfilm .
I‘ve been slow to post as life shifted into a messy spiral of things. Today I turned 29, so here is my February recap.
From beautiful moments, Fashion week, berlinale, to shootings really amazing stuff until it became messy and I‘m currently restructuring everything so I can have more time and energy to embark the next step.
Slowly finding time to catch up on those personal projects. Life is busy, but we can’t stop creating.

We are back in editing and post production this week to hopefully start a nee chapter soon.
A chapter is closing with me leaving the studio and a new one is opening as I embark my next journey.

January was caotic, hard and full experiences.
Took two wisdom teeth out, had new experiences, went to new places and created art with new and old collaborators.
Expect stuff to drop soon.
Went to fashion week and my hair looked nice.

2024
I had to learn again how to be me.
A cycle ended, a new started.
Chains broke off, chains set me free.
I didn’t ask to break off the chain,
I had no choice,
Free falling into the unknown
Not knowing how to find my path through the darkness.
I found a fire pit, surrounded by people.
I sat down and was invited to share,
My dreams, my fears, my plans, my anxieties.
Nobody judged, they just offered comfort.
Advice from their experiences and even where they could, some help.
I noticed,
I didn’t enjoy to be me.
Sabotaged myself into following a dream, I barely worked towards. Disregarding my passions and disrespecting myself.
I had to relearn, how it was to be me.
Fight through the insecurities, jump into the abyss and hope the leap of faith would be enough to get through. Get through to me.
Luckily I wasn’t alone. Otherwise this might have been truly impossible. As I had no hold, isolated and had to trust me in ways I have never before.
Through all the tears, the pain and fear a lot of beauty emerged through the thickest winters. Flowers do grow if you are patient enough. And so I waited.
I got through the year, reinvented myself, found myself, learned, grown and most importantly didn’t shy away from the occasional chat with my inner demons.
2024 you were tough but also beautiful, may 2025 be the next step closer to my dreams than you were. But if I must, I know I could make once again through 2024 v2. Because I know I won’t have walk alone.
Thanks for everyone who was a part of my year. Let’s make a good one.
